I was laying down on the grass next to my car on a roundabout when a used Lexus pulls up next to me. Perplexed, I asked who he was. He said he was from st johns ambulance rapid response and asked if I was ok because there were some calls about a woman being slumped over the wheel of her car. I explained calmly to the man that I was just fed up that my car had once again broken down. A few minutes later, a marked rapid response car pulled up onto the roundabout. “Woman slumped over wheel, are you ok?”. I explained again that I was fine and I was just trying to get a tan while I waited for recovery. Then a proper st johns ambulance pulls up. “woman slumped over wheel, are you ok?”. “yes, i’m fine. Are there any more of you?”. Apparently not but the police were on their way.
