Warning Signs In Pregnancy

In the case of cramps pregnant women should immediately report to their OBGYN. There are several warning signs in pregnancy that should not be ignored and cramping is one of them. Depending on the state of the pregnancy, cramping may be caused by a miscarriage or a premature labor. Miscarriage may occur in the first few months of the pregnancy and is usually accompanied by bleeding and abdominal pain. Pre-term labor usually starts before week thirty seven of the pregnancy and is characterized by more than four to six contractions per hours, severe cramping (that is similar to bad menstruation pain) and in most cases really uncomfortable lower back pain. Vaginal bleeding is also a sign for concern and should be evaluated as soon as possible. Other cases in which you should be seeking immediate attention from your gynecologist are decreased fetal movement, fever that seems to be worsening, painful urination and severe headaches.
